Group A Strep
Description: SMART™ Group A Strep is a colorimetric test specific for Group A streptococcal polysaccharide which can detect as few as 104 organisms quickly. Results are available in 10 minutes. Simply swab a patients throat, place it in the tube to absorb the reconstituted reagent and then place the swab into the SMART™ device. A distinct color reaction indicates a positive result.
